JOB SUMMARY: The Business Development Sales Executive is an entry level position with Imperial PFS designed to learn and understand the business through the IPFS Sales Process while establishing new contacts, development of new business opportunities through telemarketing, physical cold calling on leads and prospects, on-line searches, attending insurance industry functions and referrals. As new business is procured, this New Business Development Sales Executive will also be responsible for managing the new relationships, with the specific goal of solidifying and growing long term profitable relationships. This candidate will be responsible for business located in the New England area. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Establishing new IPFS contacts to generate new business opportunities through cold calling, investigating leads, developing prospects, closing sales while onboarding and training new Customers. - Opening and building new relationships with prospective agency/brokerages located in the assigned territory. - Increase net margin, unit count, and premiums financed by consistently adding new insurance agents to the IPFS portfolio of active Customers. - Using the IPFS Sales Process and Salesforce, the Business Development Sales Executive will conduct a needs analysis for leads, prospects and Customers. The successful Business Development Sales Executive will learn ********, IPFS services and the associated industry leading features and benefits to drive conversion of prospects to become IPFS Customers. - Must be a self-starter, with drive, empathy, persuasiveness, and self-assertion. Communication and presentation skills are essential, with the ability to relate, build relationships and earn trust with a wide variety of personality types. - Foster good working relationships with an IPFS Branch Managers and support Associates including a number of different Account Executives. REQUIRED SKILLS: - 2 - 3 years Outside Sales experience in a financial services/insurance related field or servicing experience within an insurance environment - BA or at least 2 years related work experience - High-degree of self-motivation with a passion for selling and a strong set of personal goals for achievement. - Basic communication and presentation skills as well as sales/closing skills - Outgoing and positive personality - Confidence in own abilities EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS: College Graduate Job Type: Full-time - 30+ days ago
