Your Role:
RISE Engineering is seeking a -Data Analyst -to play a critical role in process improvement and upholding high standards for data accuracy. In addition to ongoing process improvement initiatives, the data analyst will be actively involved in the process of building SQL queries and maintaining the transmission of various data sets on a scheduled basis. This individual must be comfortable with managing ongoing projects and performing ambiguous tasks.Duties & Responsibilities: -Deliver ad hoc and routine reporting utilizing one or more internal and external database systems.Facilitate the secure transfer of accurate data between RISE and program sponsorsCompiling data from primary and secondary data sourcesManage and maintain current dataImplement and uphold strategies for data integrityProvide quality assurance for reporting, invoicing, and imported dataProcess confidential information and data in accordance to internal and program sponsor guidelinesSeek to have a clear understanding of colleagues' clients' and business partners' reporting needsTroubleshoot reporting and software database errorsTest and evaluate application and software updatesManage workflow configuration and user profiles for both internal and external software applicationsAssists in application problem resolution as needed to ensure that internal and external customers receive prompt, efficient service in accordance with company policies.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a database analyst and/or business data analystMust be proficient in writing SQL queries, ETL (SSIS) and stored proceduresStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and prepare files with attention to detail and accuracyExperience working with energy efficiency program data, a plusProficient in MS Office applications, with Excel reporting skills including pivot tablesAbility to prioritize and manage workload effectively with conflicting deadlines.Proven ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly, effectively, and tactfully (written and verbal)General understanding of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies.
