Job Description:

Met-Cap Management, LLC is seeking to add a General Maintenance/Construction Worker to our team. The successful candidate possesses a working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance duties and utilizes industry best practices along with defined company procedures to ensure timely completion of projects on our owned and leased properties. The candidate must also have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands. Job Functions:

• Tracks timelines for all phases of projects to meet company established completion deadlines.
• Establishes respectful working relationships with managers, peers, outside vendors and sub-contractors.
• Comprehends blueprints, job specifications, and architectural drawings.
• Work includes new construction, remodeling, renovation and maintenance.
• Assess situations and determine the best course of action.
• Makes most decisions with minimal or no supervision.
• Able to effectively prioritize tasks with limited input from management.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years' experience in construction, carpentry, repairs and maintenance
  • Working knowledge of the various trades associated with construction project management: plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and HVAC.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with peers, vendors, sub-contractors, etc.
  • Ability to resolve conflict in professional, timely manner.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must hold a valid drivers' license
  • Industry standard licenses and/or certifications a plus
