Position:--Desktop Support Technician-- Apex Job ID: 1127407 Location: Cranston, RI Rate:--Negotiable--based on experience-- Duration: 6+ month contract-- Position Description: The desktop support specialist will be be working closely with existing technical support staff. Desktop support specialists will be responsible for deploying and maintaining PC's and Printers to end users.-- This position will require resolving technical challenges in a timely and professional manner in accordance with standard operating procedures. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the existing Technical Support staff and will interact will other team members on multiple aspects of the project
  • Setting up Dual monitors on PC based systems
  • PC builds from pre-defined images or custom build, deploying PC's and printers to end users, along with migrating documents, settings and custom software that end users have installed
  • Configuring local or network printers for each end user. Important Qualifications:--
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 --years' experience working in--environments utilizing Microsoft Office 2016
    • 1 to 3 --years' experience in large scale PC rollouts--
    • Customer Service--
    • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move equipment easily
    • Experience in Windows 10, SCCM, Dual monitor configurations Education/Work Experience Required:
      • High School degree or equivalent mandatory.--
      • Technical School training desired--
