neurological conditions. In Specialty Care, youll help deliver
breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of
the highest unmet needs. The Rare Disease Access Strategy Director
is responsible for working within the Sanofi business unit to help
develop and execute the market access strategy for the Rare Disease
for both in-line and Launch products. This individual will help
develop the value story across market access channels and regional
payers, working in partnership with the market access, medical,
marketing functions, sales and PRB team members to support access
initiatives and gain optimal product reimbursement and coverage.
The Director should have experience in specialty pharmacy,
reimbursement and policy, and experience launching products
demonstrating independent strategic thinking and able to work with
minimal supervision. This role will provide periodic updates to key
internal stakeholders, including BU partners, on important payer
trends and issues, and will document payer initiatives and their
outcomes. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of
Access Strategy and is based in Cambridge, MA, with a hybrid work

peoples lives. Main Responsibilities Drive strategic market access
planning by collaborating with Medical Affairs, Evidence-Based
Medicine (EBM/HEVA), and Market Research teams to identify,
analyze, and anticipate market trends that will shape current and
future access landscapes Develop comprehensive access strategies
and tactical frameworks across multiple channels and regions to
optimize broad market penetration for Rare Disease portfolio brands
Lead cross-functional strategic alignment with key commercial
departments (Marketing, Sales, Patient Support Services) to ensure
cohesive execution of priorities, goals, and promotional materials
Payer Engagement & Value Communication Architect and execute payer
value propositions by leading the development of compelling
communication platforms in partnership with US Market Access,
Marketing, and medical teams Create and oversee development of both
personal and non-personal payer materials for unbranded and branded
campaigns that resonate with key stakeholders Direct the Rare
Access Insights Team to generate critical payer intelligence and
strategic guidance for program design and material development
Provide expert consultation to commercial teams on complex
reimbursement challenges affecting both medical and pharmacy
benefits for infused and oral specialty products undefined Generate
actionable market intelligence through sophisticated analytics at
both plan and geographical levels to inform strategic
decision-making Design and implement comprehensive training
programs for payer-facing teams in collaboration with Value and
Access, Account Management, Training, and Brand leadership Analyze,
develop, and execute pull-through initiatives that drive market
access success and optimize patient access pathways Establish and
monitor KPIs and performance metrics to measure the impact and
effectiveness of key market access initiatives undefined Execute
seamless collaboration with Global Market Access and US teams to
deliver core market access deliverables and specialized tools
Interface strategically with consumer and HCP marketing colleagues
to understand evolving customer needs, insights, and payer impact
dynamics Manage vendor and agency relationships including RFP
development, selection processes, and milestone achievement toward
contractual deliverables Oversee market access budget allocation
and ensure optimal resource utilization aligned with strategic
priorities and key responsibilities About You Required
Qualifications and Skills: BA, BS, Pharm D or equivalent required.
MBA or other graduate level degree preferred 8 years of
biopharmaceutical industry experience 3-5 years of Market Access
experience, such as Payer Marketing Management, Contracting,
Training Product launch experience in specialty/biologics is
required Experience in rare disease is a plus but not required
Candidates must possess the ability to proactively analyze and
identify business problems, develop strategic solutions, implement
tactical programs, and design metrics to measure business impact
Individual must possess the ability to build consensus in a matrix
environment with multiple functional groups supporting the brand
team Strong communication skills Strong financial/analytical skills
