*The first step towards growing your network and helping your community.As an Event Strategist for Adventure Ted Meetups, you become an invaluable member of the Childhood Cancer Society Community! Through this program, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the C-Suite and Board of Directors at the Childhood Cancer Society as well as the 60+ volunteer professionals at the foundation to increase the impact and awareness of the organization.Event Strategists will work with a team to collaborate on producing fun and exciting experiences allowing for fun socializing moments. To ensure quality and success, Event Strategists will have access to all of the Childhood Cancer Society's national teams including the following departments: Communications, Graphic Design, Animation, Videography, and Web Development.Adventure Ted Meetups serve as a way for members of the community to meet each other in a fun and positive setting, while also sharing the important work that Childhood Cancer Society does and inviting participants to get involved in ways that interest them.Must be a graduate student, currently enrolled in an accredited university. Must be an excellent communicator who enjoys planning events for a great cause. Must have strong ties to the community and/or local community groups.Experience in planning events is a plus.
