Description: Job Description: - CAD Technician / CAD Detailer - Assist in generating steel erection and shop drawings. - Time is always of the essence in this line of work; so the candidate must be comfortable communicating professionally (verbally, in hand-written notes, and in typed messages ) with customers, engineers, contractors, material vendors, and job site foremen. - In conjunction with effective communication, it is expected that the candidate will document all critical project information and keep these items organized appropriately for future reference. - Strong professional communication skills. - Knowledge of the industry & an awareness of a given project's scope of work to communicate intelligently, knowing what to say and what not to say. - The position involves answering phone calls and correspondence with customers, vendors, suppliers, field personnel, etc Skills: steel, drawing, shop, cad, detailing, construction, SDS2, bluebeam, SDS, drafting, structure, project management, structural steel, fabrication, detail, autocad Top Skills Details: steel,drawing,shop,cad,detailing Additional Skills & Qualifications: - Experience with steel detailing - Experience using detailing software , SDS2 is preferred Experience Level: Intermediate Level About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
