COMPANY NAME: Cooley Group JOB TITLE: Weaver LOCATION: Cranston, Rhode Island HOURS: 3rd Shift Cooley Group is looking to hire hard-working and dedicated employees for Weavers. Operate machines, fix quality issues, and material handling in and around the looms to maintain the machines' efficient operation. Includes but is not limited to loading and unloading the machine with yarn/beams, replenishing the saturation felts and any required duties to ensure the equipment is running as efficiently as possible. Also, grade rolls and record information as required. May require the movement of goods with motorized equipment. Key Responsibilities:Responsible for operating weaving machines Drawing in broken threads Replacing filling Doff fabric from machines. Responsible for fabric quality, housekeeping, and assisting others as needed. Must have spill response training. Successful candidates will have:One year experience High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must be able to read and understand English. Must be computer literate. Must be able to use standard ruler and metric system.
