Our Division Stamptech Fasteners Division Description: The ITW Stamptech Fastener Division serves the major OEMs and Tier suppliers in the North American automotive market. The division supplies stamped metal fasteners and engineered fastener assemblies that leverage our deep-draw stamping technologies. The annual revenue for the division is approximately $160M. Locations include Gallatin, TN, Lexington, KY & Naugatuck, CT. The Division drives profitability by leveraging its innovative solutions and application engineering. In addition to ITWs industry leading research and development capabilities, Stamptech Fasteners enhances our customers competitive advantage by maintaining advanced engineering and manufacturing facilities in North America, exchanging product, process, and benchmarking information with sister units worldwide and ccontinually improving processes, material, and designs to ensure every product provides value and meets customer expectations. Job Description Set up and maintain production on Minster presses ranging 60-200 tons. Set up and adjust tooling in production equipment. Perform maintenance on tooling. Use toolroom equipment to sharpen or fabricate tooling as required. Diagnose machine failures and other mechanical problems. Take necessary corrective repair action in a timely manner. Assist and instruct Machine Operators and Apprentices to maintain production. May be called upon to operate production equipment as required. Follows all safety and housekeeping rules. Qualifications 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Information WORK ENVIRONMENT Employee will be required to work in all areas of the plant. Prolonged standing, crawling, kneeling, and walking while performing job assignments. Must be able to lift 45 lbs. Safety-toed/ slip-resistant shoes, safety glasses, and earplugs are required on the plant floor. Wearing other PPE for a variety of measuring/testing equipment.
