Recognized as a top workplace and a Great Place to Work, we foster a culture of growth, customer focus, and diversity.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYThis role involves managing technical requirements for go-to-market efforts with major partners, supporting Wind River's product portfolio including eLxr Pro Linux, Studio Operator, and other Edge products. You will leverage the OpenStack StarlingX project to deliver high-performance, geographically distributed Kubernetes-based solutions for edge cloud infrastructure, addressing complex deployment and security challenges.Ideal candidates have experience in software engineering focusing on networking and distributed systems, with an ability to understand customer problems and develop solutions. Some travel will be required.You will report to the Senior Director of Sales and collaborate with solution architects, account managers, engineering, and product teams to become a trusted technical advisor, understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.Responsibilities

• Manage all technical needs of assigned partners.
• Serve as a technical point of contact and trusted advisor.
• Develop Proofs of Concept, demos, and presentations based on partner needs.
• Understand customer use cases and assist in developing POCs or demos.
• Lead customer requirements analysis and technical solution creation.
• Participate in open source projects as needed.
• Provide market feedback to Wind River.
• Remove technical barriers and increase market share globally.ABOUT YOUCore Competencies & Demonstrated Success
  • Hands-on experience developing customer POCs, extending features, and testing.
  • Experience with open-source projects like StarlingX and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of modern enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, Telco networks, and management tools.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to large audiences and work independently at partner and customer sites.Qualifications
    • 12+ years in software development or solutions architecture.
    • Knowledge of network stacks, switching, routing.
    • Understanding of enterprise IT architectures, data centers, edge, and cloud, with telecom network knowledge.
    • Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation or similar solutions.
    • Expertise in virtualization, containers, Kubernetes, orchestration, OpenStack, and cloud-native tech.
    • Background in Linux deployment, image building, and kernel development.
    • Proficiency in English for business discussions.
