Job Description:
MV Transportation, Inc., a leader in public transport services
across North America, is seeking a highly skilled Training Manager
to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in
upholding our reputation for delivering unparalleled safety and
service by leading comprehensive training programs for our
transportation teams. Your expertise will ensure that all staff are
well-prepared to meet the challenges of the transportation industry
while adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
Develop and implement training strategies, curricula, and materials
for transportation operators and other staff members. Evaluate
training effectiveness to ensure compliance with state and federal
regulations and to meet organizational goals. Collaborate with
management to identify training needs and schedule training
sessions accordingly. Maintain records of training activities and
employee progress and monitor overall training program
effectiveness. Manage the budget for training and development,
including resources and technologies necessary for its success.
Coach and mentor training participants, providing actionable
feedback for improvement. Stay up-to-date with the latest
transportation technologies and training best practices. Proficient
in adult learning principles and training methodologies. Strong
organizational and leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills. Adept in problem-solving and negotiation.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet
deadlines. Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety
standards. Certified Professional in Learning and Performance
(CPLP) or equivalent is preferred. Additional certifications in
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) or Department
of Transportation (DOT) regulations are advantageous.
