Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, the incumbent
is responsible for supporting the company's sales goals through
professional customer service by maintaining quality relations with
existing and new accounts.
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for
fielding incoming calls and emails, processing of sales quotes and
purchase orders, and aiding in the continuous growth of the
Company. The Customer Service Representative's responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
Provide thorough and accurate response to email and caller
inquiries to internal and external customers
Collecting and reporting sales customer information and issues.
Review incoming orders for accuracy and integrity.
Assist customers and sales with pricing and delivery information
Accurately manage purchase orders, sales quotes, procurement match
and discounts as needed.
Follow up on ship dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as
Proactively handle tasks within company as well as throughout
assigned sales territory.
Maintain an organized workplace and schedule to ensure quality
Understand customers business, requirements, and expectations to
make value-added recommendations.
Support the Reclaim Manager (recycling side of the business) at the
Head Office in Montreal on the following tasks:
Follow up with orders for pick up;
Create proposals and update prices;
Tracking of certain shipments;
Liaison for dross pickups.
College degree in communication or business administration (an
Any combination of 2 to 5 years in customer service or inside
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)
Good organization skills, multi-tasking;
Good communication skills;
Works well in a team;
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
