TEMPORARYIn addition to performing the responsibilities of a Medical Receptionist, the Lead Medical Receptionist assists the Practice Manager in leadership and the effective day-to-day operation of the office, to include direction and coordination of daily work assignments, ensuring adequate staffing, scheduling, assists in the processing of payroll; interview process; mentoring and development of staff by providing recommendations and feedback. Assists the Practice Manager in all areas of running/monitoring front office, including oversight of all providers scheduling templates for accuracy and completeness.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred. 3-5 years of healthcare experience required. Basic Windows XP and proficient Microsoft Office required. Strong verbal/written communication and leadership skills required. Proven ability to multi-task and delegate effectively to others. Requires travel to other SCMG practices as needed. CPC preferred.Success Factors:Desire to be a vital part of a Team. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a hectic environment with great accuracy. Maintains composure when interacting with a wide variety of customers and situations. Highly motivated and able to contribute and solicit ideas for the overall improvement of the department.
