Coverage Needed

Start Date: 06-30-2026
End Date: 07-01-2026
Schedule: Call only, beeper
- 24-hour shift (7a-7a)

Clinical Details

EMR System: Cerner
Practice Settings: Inpatient
Patients Per Shift: 4
Support Staff: PAs in-house majority of time
Trauma Level: 4
Admissions: 4
Surgery only, no endoscopy
May need to consult on inpatients
Fully hospitalist and ICU attending coverage, so will only be consultants
Typical Call:
- unassigned / ED patients
- 2-4 calls per 24 hours
- Call backs per 24 hrs: 0-2
- Patients seen: 0-3
- Rounding only if patient is admitted
  - Avg. patients round on: 0-3, Less than 4 hours

Requirements

Board certified (or board eligible within 5 years)
Licensed in Massachusetts
Fellowship Preferred
Certifications: BLS
Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days
Local Candidates Preferred
