Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Occupational Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 32 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 4x8hrs - Hours: 32 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 30, 2026 - Length: 8 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of recent inpatient acute experience and Cerner EMR skills for a community-based assignment in Vermont. Details - Inpatient occupational therapy setting at a critical access hospital - Day shift with scheduled hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 32 hours per week - Every other weekend and occasional holiday coverage required - No on-call responsibilities - Cerner EMR utilized and experience is required Requirements - Current Vermont Occupational Therapist license required if applicable - Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association required - Minimum 2 years of current inpatient or acute OT experience required - Experience working in a critical access hospital required - Cerner EMR experience required - Proof of ability to work independently - Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle - Submission must include a current occupational therapy skills checklist and at least one supervisory signed reference from the past two years Additional Information - Provide occupational therapy treatments based on evaluation of patients' needs and status - Maintain accurate records and assist with in-services and community health programs - 8 hours of orientation will be provided before starting - Requested time off must be submitted with the application; no more than 5 days of RTO will be approved - Local travelers residing within 50 miles are not eligible for this position - Travel experience is highly preferred - Travel pairs will not be considered for this assignment - Small community environment without public transportation American Traveler Job ID P-668969.
