This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of a nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, and maintaining adherence to all regulatory and facility policies. The Unit Manager, RN, will work closely with healthcare professionals to foster an environment of professional growth and exceptional patient care. This dynamic position requires strong leadership, thorough knowledge of healthcare regulations, and a passion for patient care. Manage nursing staff and oversee patient care operations within the unit. Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical professionals. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and policies. Develop and implement unit policies and procedures to improve quality of care provided. Lead training and professional development sessions for nursing staff. Manage patient records and documentation systematically. Assist in the budgeting and resource allocation processes. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in managing patient care technology and medical software In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards Ability to train and motivate staff Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
