Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 12-hour day shift Emergency Department position, requiring a NH or compact RN license and BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in the Emergency Department with a patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics, excluding OB - 12-hour day shifts, three shifts per week - No on-call required - Travelers may be asked to float within the hospital - EMR used is Cerner; experience is preferred but not required - Contract assignment is 13 weeks in length - Weekly orientation is provided - Permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service - A 50-mile radius rule applies for local rate eligibility - Regular attendance at assigned shifts, including holiday coverage, may be expected - First time travelers are welcome to apply /n /n Requirements/n - Active NH or compact RN license required at the time of consideration; temporary licenses are not accepted - Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required - Willingness to work with pediatric patients and be trained if lacking prior experience - 3 professional references, including 2 from leadership, will be required upon commitment /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-672169.
