accounts. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) … This position
is responsible for conducting intakes, providing some direct
clinical services, and serving as both a consultant and peer to our
multi-disciplinary team. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Provide
initial diagnostic and psychosocial assessments and administer
outcome measurement and risk assessment tools. Responsible for some
administrative tasks including requesting insurance authorizations.
Provide group, individual brief treatment, youth and family therapy
as needed. Work side by side with service recipients to create
person-centered treatment/recovery plans. Provide clinical
consultation and guidance to Bachelor level case management staff
as needed. Complete all agency documentation in a timely manner
utilizing a collaborative documentation approach. Ability to
respond to and provide crisis intervention and clinical risk
assessment. Ability to assess the need for higher levels of care
including partial hospital, crisis stabilization units and
inpatient hospitalization. Serve as a client advocate with
appropriate and timely referrals to other agencies; provide
consultation and follow-up communication with law enforcement
agencies, community agencies, schools, medical facilities, and
inpatient units. Actively participate in team communication
processes that ensure appropriate services and outcomes.
Requirements: WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU… Master’s degree in human
services field or Licensure as a Registered Nurse Licensed at the
independent practice level as defined by the Rhode Island
Department of Health (LICSW) preferred. LCSW and LMHC will also be
considered. Minimum of 2 years of employment experience in
community health, crisis stabilization unit, or inpatient
psychiatric settings, or like field experience 2 or more years of
experience collaborating with individuals with trauma and substance
abuse issues. Credentialed or eligible to be credentialed as a
Qualified Mental Health Professional through the Department of
BHDDH within 2 months of employment. Ability to diagnose using DSM
5 criteria. Has a knowledge base and can access all resources for
hospitalization and crisis stabilization/hospital diversion. Caring
and empathetic, with exceptional communication skills for
interaction with a variety of individuals Self-motivated with the
ability to work independently and in an organized manner. Ability
to work with clients who may exhibit unsafe, high-risk behaviors.
Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation to travel to
