Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 11.5 Hours Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Critical Care License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Advanced hemodynamic monitoring experience - ICP monitoring experience - Experience with ventilated patients - Knowledge of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications - Ability to assist with line insertion and maintenance - Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients - Experience with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD - Experience with PA lines and waveform interpretation Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care for a 13-week duration. The shift is 11.5 hours with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The unit consists of 18 beds and admits surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis patients. The ideal candidate will have critical care experience and demonstrate proficiency in advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Experience with ICP monitoring, ventilated patients, and management of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications is essential. Candidates must be capable of assisting with line insertion and maintenance. Experience with managing lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients is required. Familiarity with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD is important.
