intensive mental health needs? As part of our Residential Support
team, you play a vital role in helping individuals achieve greater
independence, stability, and confidence in their daily lives. In a
small, licensed residential care home, your work directly supports
residents in a structured, 24/7 environment with nursing oversight.
Through hands-on guidance with daily living skills, meal planning,
vocational activities, medication routines, and treatment and
recovery planning, you help residents build the skills they need to
succeed beyond the residential setting. Whether you’re launching

positive impact every single day. Job Duties: Provide day-to-day
residential support to adults with intensive mental health needs in
a licensed care home Support residents in developing greater
independence, stability, and daily living skills Assist with meal
planning, meal preparation, and nutrition routines Support
residents with vocational, educational, and skill-building
activities Assist with medication routines in coordination with
nursing oversight and agency policies Participate in treatment,
recovery, and service planning to support resident goals Accompany
residents to medical, psychiatric, and community appointments as
needed Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive 24/7 residential
environment Observe, document, and report resident progress,
concerns, and behavioral changes Follow individualized care plans,
house guidelines, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with
nursing staff, clinicians, and other team members to ensure
continuity of care Provide emotional support, encouragement, and
positive role modeling Participate in required training,
supervision, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications: B.A. In psychology or Human Services preferred.
Previous work with psychiatric population is desirable. Must have a
valid driver’s license, clean driving record and own reliable
transportation. Must be able to pass a criminal background checks.

Compensation and benefits: This full-time position offers an hourly
rate of $20.25/hr. and excellent benefits, including tuition
reimbursement/student loan assistance; generous paid time off;
employer-sponsored health, dental, life, and disability insurances;
and a 403(b)-retirement plan with employer match. Single Steps: A
Montpelier-based, 8-bed transitional group home supporting
individuals in recovery and skill-building for independent living.
Staff provide 24/7 guidance, social and vocational support, and
access to medical and therapeutic services. Segue House: A 7-bed
downtown Montpelier residence offering transitional,
recovery-focused support for individuals with mental health and
substance use challenges. Staff assist residents with daily
routines, life skills, and individualized treatment goals. Road
House: A 3-bed Barre residential home providing long-term, 24/7
support for individuals needing assistance with daily living,
recovery planning, and medical oversight. Staff help with meals,
appointments, and emotional and vocational supports. Chrysalis
House: A 2-bed Waterbury home offering 24/7 support for individuals
working toward greater independence. Staff assist with daily
living, recovery planning, appointments, and skill-building. Moody
Court: Independent apartments adjacent to Chrysalis House,
supporting up to four residents with recovery and daily living
needs. Staff provide 24/7 assistance with medication, social
skills, and community-based support while promoting autonomy. All
programs will have schedules that include shifts in normal business
hours, evening hours and asleep overnight hours. To Apply: We
