Job Title: Certified Surgical First Assist Profession: Surgical First Assist Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 40 hours/week Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: BLS, NH Med Tech certifications required Certifications: Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT, NBSTSA, etc.) Must-Have: Proficient experience in the following cases: - General Surgery - Obstetrics - Orthopedics - Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) - Trauma - Plastics - Ophthalmology Description: The position involves working with a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Candidates must be willing to perform duties as a Surgical Technologist in addition to First Assist responsibilities to support dynamic caseloads. Flexibility to be on call as determined by departmental needs is required. The role is based in the Operating Room and requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
