Job Description:
Ryder is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our
dynamic team in the automotive sector. At Ryder, we're not just

efficiency. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to
work on some of the most advanced diesel engines in the industry
and contribute to maintaining our reputation for reliability and
outstanding service. Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks.
Maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, or other
components. Adhere to environmental laws and regulations involving
vehicle maintenance. Manage inventory of parts and tools to ensure
availability in times of need. Provide preventative maintenance to
increase the longevity of vehicle use. Assist in roadside repairs
and emergency services. Keep detailed records of serviced vehicles.
Communicate effectively with fleet management to ensure operational
efficiencies. Expertise in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools. Strong
problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and in
team settings. Effective communication skills. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ASE Diesel
Certification highly desirable. Valid driver’s license and clean
driving record.
