Ryder is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to become a part of our reputable team, known for leading in logistics and transportation. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the performance and reliability of our diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring operational excellence and safety. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of diesel engines and vehicle systems. Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic technology and established procedures. Complete repairs to vehicles to restore them to proper working conditions. Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Communicate effectively with logistics managers and other team members to ensure a cohesive operational flow. Keep detailed records of services and repairs conducted on each vehicle. Assist in the training and mentoring of junior mechanics and technicians. Profound knowledge of diesel engines and electronic systems. Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy parts and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and communication skills. 401k Certified Diesel Mechanic from a recognized institution. ASE Certification in Diesel Mechanics is highly desirable.
