Whether you're a milling expert or lathe-focused machinist, you'll work with cutting-edge materials like Titanium and Inconel to produce tight-tolerance parts for aerospace and defense applications. Available Shifts Day Shift – Lathe Focus Focus: CNC lathes (mill-turn experience is a plus) Setup and operate high-precision turning machines Pay: $38.00 – $42.00/hour Night Shift – Milling Focus (5-Axis) Focus: CNC mills (mostly 32; 5-axis), some lathe experience helpful Materials: Titanium, Inconel Pay: $38.00 – $42.00/hour 10% shift differential No current applicants for this shift – great opportunity to stand out! Key Responsibilities ? Set up and operate CNC machines (mills or lathes) ? Work from blueprints and inspect tight-tolerance parts ? Troubleshoot minor issues, adjust offsets, and replace tooling ? Collaborate with engineering on process improvements ? Maintain accurate documentation and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/GDP) ? Train and mentor junior machinists as needed ? Work in a clean, safety-first environment using advanced technology ? Requirements 5 years of CNC machining experience (setup & operation) Experience with 5-axis milling or CNC turning Ability to read blueprints and use metrology tools Familiarity with G-code and CAM systems US Citizenship or Green Card required (ITAR compliance) Preferred: Mill-turn experience Wire EDM exposure Prior aerospace or defense machining background About Tecomet Tecomet is a global leader in precision manufacturing for the medical device, aerospace, and defense industries .
