Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is
available to support high school students in a Pre-K through
Pre-School educational setting. This contract role begins ASAP in
White River Junction, VT, with potential for renewal.
Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the
unique needs of approximately five high school students.
Collaborate with 1:1 paraprofessionals assigned to each student to
ensure individualized support. Spend the first half of the day
providing classroom instruction and support within the school
environment. Assist students during the second half of the day by
supervising and supporting their job-related activities in
community settings. Adapt teaching strategies to facilitate student
learning both in academic and real-world environments.
Qualifications: Experience as a Special Education Teacher,
preferably with Pre-K or Pre-School populations. Ability to work
effectively with students requiring individualized attention and
support. Skills in collaborating with paraprofessionals and other
educational staff. Comfortable with community-based instructional
activities. Strong communication and organizational skills.

Compensation for this position ranges from $21.93 to $47.93.
