Job Description:
MV Transportation, Inc., a leader in public transit services
across North America, seeks a dedicated Training Manager to join
our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for
overseeing and enhancing the training and development programs that
prepare our employees to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient
transportation services. This position offers a unique opportunity
to make impactful changes and contribute to the professional growth
of our workforce, ensuring that our training standards meet the
highest industry and safety standards. Develop, implement, and
monitor training programs within MV Transportation across multiple
locations. Assess the needs of the organization and identify
training programs to strengthen employee skills and knowledge.
Prepare and manage the training budget, ensuring effective use of
resources. Collaborate with various department heads to facilitate
and refine necessary training programs, incorporating both
classroom training and on-the-job coaching. Evaluate training
effectiveness through feedback, surveys, and employee performance
results, making adjustments as needed. Stay abreast of the latest
developments in training and development, as well as transportation
industry standards to ensure compliance and relevance. Lead,
inspire, and mentor trainers and staff to achieve excellence in
delivery and learner satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all
federal, state, and local regulations related to training and
employee safety. Strong proficiency in Transportation Management
Systems and learning management systems. Excellent leadership,
interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to design and
implement effective training and development programs. Strong
analytical skills to assess program success and identify areas for
improvement. Proven ability to manage budgets and resources
efficiently. Certified Professional in Learning and Performance
(CPLP) is preferred. Certified Training Manager/Director
certification.
