Job Description:

MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Training Manager who will be instrumental in fostering a culture of sustainable development aligned with corporate objectives vital for ensuring efficient and compliant transportation operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs that enhance the skills of employees and improve the quality of our services across our various transportation modes, including paratransit, fixed-routes, shuttles, and school buses throughout the U.S. and Canada. Develop and execute training strategies and frameworks tailored for diverse transportation roles. Oversee the onboarding and continuous educational programs for drivers, maintenance, and support staff. Manage, update, and curate courses to ensure compliance with national and local transportation regulations. Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees' work behavior. Provide leadership, development, and performance management to the training team. Collaborate with management to identify and rectify training gaps and barriers. Prepare and manage the training budget, ensuring optimal use of resources. Proven knowledge of modern training processes and strategies. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse groups. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software for training management. Certification in Training Management (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Certified Training Manager/Director). Additional certifications in transportation safety and compliance preferred.
