Staff & Management /n Position Summary /n The HVAC Technician II
plays a critical role in supporting a multi-building campus
environment, ensuring optimal comfort and reliability across
academic, residential, and athletic facilities. This position
performs maintenance, repairs, and installation of HVAC and
refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems,
boilers, and other mechanical, electrical, and building systems in
accordance with client expectations and operational standards. /n
Basic Qualifications /n /n - Must be 18 years of age or older /n -
Valid, unexpired driver’s license /n - HVAC license in the state,
county, or city jurisdiction where work will be performed /n - EPA
Universal certification credentials /n - Refrigeration/HVAC trade
or vocational certification /n - Minimum of three (3) years of HVAC
experience /n /n Responsibilities /n /n - Troubleshoot, calibrate,
and adjust pilots, thermostats, burners, transformers, controls,
relays, heaters, elements, switches, and electrical system
components /n - Use common HVAC trade tools (e.g., multimeter,
refrigerant gauges, charging charts, hand tools) /n - Install,
maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and
equipment across diverse building types, including classrooms,
dormitories, laboratories, and athletic facilities /n - Identify
maintenance risks on equipment and diagnose electrical and
mechanical faults /n - Perform emergency repairs promptly and
efficiently /n - Clean, adjust, and repair systems; perform
warranty services /n - Provide technical direction and on-the-job
training /n - Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance
functions /n - Ensure compliance with appliance standards and
Occupational Health and Safety Act /n - Comply with service
standards, work instructions, and customer requirements /n - Assist
with customer inquiries and complete other duties as assigned /n /n
Preferred Skills /n /n - Experience supporting educational or
institutional facilities is a plus /n - Strong troubleshooting and
problem-solving skills /n - Ability to work independently and as
