Job Description:

Tasca Automotive Group due to retirement is looking for a corporate controller in our Cranston RI office. Responsibilities* Manage all accounting operations day to day in our corporate office.* Manage our corporate staff of 35 people on a daily basis.* Work closely with Sr. management on a daily to improve and guide the work flow.* Initiate the support of your team for timely financial deadlines.* Ensure the quality of all the schedules & balance sheets monthly of a multi franchise office.* Comply on a timely basis with all state and local tax returns.* Performing various corporate registrations and licenses in a timely mannerEducation and Experience* 5 years of experience as an Automotive controller and proven supervisory skills* Bachelor's degree in accounting is a must* Thorough knowledge of all accounting functions involved in running a business* Experience with analyzing financial data and trend sheets* Experience with month end closes financial statements etc.* Need to be fluent in accounting with CDK or Reynolds and Reynolds computer systemPersonal ProfileTasca is looking for an individual that possesses these qualities:* Self-starting highly motivated and goal oriented individual committed to succeeding in a team atmosphere* Excellent attention to detail which produces quality work* Very organized and systematic approach to the daily work load* Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability manage diverse personalities* Analytical person with the ability to look at issues from multiple viewpoints.
